Researched for: SLU-PP-332 evidence and protocol review
Also known as: SLU PP 332
SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic small-molecule pan-agonist of the three estrogen-related receptors (ERRalpha, ERRbeta, ERRgamma) - orphan nuclear receptors regulating mitochondrial biogenesis, fatty-acid oxidation, and the transcriptional program normally activated by aerobic exercise. It was identified and characterized in Thomas P. Burris's laboratory at Saint Louis University School of Medicine (subsequent work continued at Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Florida), and is named for its origin institution. Cell assays show it activates all three ERR isoforms but is roughly 4-fold more potent at ERRalpha (EC50 approximately 98nM) than ERRgamma (EC50 approximately 430nM), with ERRbeta intermediate. Preclinical studies report enhanced mitochondrial biogenesis markers in cardiac, skeletal muscle, and neural tissue, and the compound's skeletal-muscle transcriptional readout substantially overlaps with the gene-expression signature of endurance exercise - the basis for its 'exercise mimetic' description. Evidence base is entirely preclinical to date.

Community discussion of SLU-PP-332 (an experimental exercise-mimetic PPAR-delta/ERR agonist) is active and mixed: some users report strong positive endurance/fat-loss effects, while others report adverse reactions like lethargy and low heart rate. Anecdotal, not clinically verified in humans.
Ongoing self-reported trial log describing subjective endurance/energy effects; single-user account, not corroborated by clinical data.
User reports lethargy and low heart rate while using SLU-PP-332, asking whether others experienced the same; an isolated adverse-event-style report, not corroborated by clinical data.
