Catalog Description

PEG-MGF is a pegylated analog of Mechano Growth Factor (the IGF-1Ec E-domain peptide), in which polyethylene glycol chains are attached to extend its functional half-life from minutes (native MGF) to approximately 24 hours, making it more practical for research protocols. PEG-MGF is studied for activating the satellite-cell proliferation phase (increasing the pool of myogenic progenitor cells), which researchers have sequenced with subsequent IGF-1 LR3 administration to also drive the differentiation/protein-synthesis phase - a two-phase research protocol design reported in comparative literature.

Catalog descriptions reflect research context only. Not a medical claim or treatment recommendation.

Research Profile

Half-Life
~24 hours (PEGylated; extended from minutes for native MGF)
Onset
Satellite-cell proliferation effects studied over days in preclinical protocols
Administration Routes (Research)

Research Notes

Twice-weekly post-workout SC schedules are community extrapolations. Pegylation changes identity and pharmacology, so MGF data are not interchangeable.

Supplementary research context only. Not medical advice or a treatment recommendation.

Community Discussion Unverified

Best-effort summary of forum/Reddit discussion. This is anecdotal community commentary, not a scientific source, and does not count toward this record's verification status. Do not treat it as established fact or medical guidance.

Community reports on PEG-MGF describe varied subjective effects on muscle recovery/growth; it is frequently discussed alongside IGF-1 LR3 in combined growth-factor protocols. Anecdotal, self-reported, not clinically verified.
