Researched for: hexarelin human endocrine studies
Also known as: Examorelin
Hexarelin is a synthetic hexapeptide GH secretagogue reported as the strongest GH-releasing agent among the GHRP class in comparative studies. Unlike ipamorelin, hexarelin activates non-GHS-R1a/CRF-related pathways, producing ACTH and cortisol release of a magnitude similar to human CRH in published comparative studies (alongside GHRP-2). It also interacts with CD36 receptors in cardiac tissue, a distinguishing feature investigated in cardioprotection research. Prolonged use has been associated with receptor desensitization in the literature.
