Quick Facts

Reference Sizes
10 mg, 25 mg, 30 mL at 25 mg/mL (vendor formulation)
Storage
Scientific-reagent storage is supplier-specific; use the SDS and COA and protect solutions from repeated freeze-thaw
Solubility
Poorly water-soluble small molecule; laboratory formulations commonly use DMSO or study-specific vehicles

Catalog Description

BAM15 is a synthetic mitochondrial uncoupler that increases proton conductance and respiration without the same plasma-membrane depolarization seen with some older uncouplers in cell systems. Oral bioavailability and metabolic effects have been demonstrated in mice, not humans. As of July 2026 it remains preclinical; new work includes ex vivo human sperm and human-liver-microsome studies, not clinical administration.

Catalog descriptions reflect research context only. Not a medical claim or treatment recommendation.
